Kiski Valley Animal Clinic, Inc. in Leechburg, PA, is here to help your pet stay healthy. Since 1950 our family-owned practice has been keeping dogs and cats in the best shape. From vaccines and wellness checks to spays and neuters, our team is here to provide the best care.

Our veterinarian, Dr. Mark Minton is a caring professional with lifelong experience appreciating animals. Growing up in rural western PA on his family's farm, he learned how important and rewarding it is to put in hard work to care for animals. With those values instilled, he began to pursue his degrees. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State in 2001.

Since graduating, he has lived and practiced in his home state of Western PA. Though the farm animals he grew up caring for aren't the focus of his practice, he always circles back to lessons he learned about working hard and making the wellness and comfort of the animals his focus. He enjoys meeting new clients and also takes a lot of pride and pleasure from the established clients he always looks forward to seeing.

Dr. Rachel Klingensmith grew up in the area of Leechburg, PA. She received an undergraduate degree from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and earned her DVM degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Klingensmith is excited to be back working in her hometown.

Dr. Klingensmiths interests include feline medicine and preventive medicine. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching Netflix with her three cats, Ace, Bowie, and Sirius. Dr. Klingensmith is excited to work with new and existing clients and provide the best care for their fur babies.
